Our Gomatas are raised in harmony with nature, free to graze on organic fields without the use of modern artificial interventions to induce breeding or boost milk production. Our “Goseva Ghee” is crafted using the traditional bilona method or vedic bilona method, a process deeply rooted in ancient Indian practices. It is meticulously prepared from A2 milk sourced from Gir Gomata (cows) using the time-honored Indian method known as dohan. According to shastras (ancient Indian treatises), the term “dohan,” derived from “do” meaning two, signifies that the calf is allowed to feed to its satisfaction from two anchals. The remaining two anchals are used to obtain milk for other living beings, including humans. We adhere to this principle and never discard older, non-lactating Gaumata or Nandi.
