100% Pure Bilona A2 Cultured ghee churned from curd of Indigenous(desi) cows only. Single Origin, made at Hetha farms with Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar desi cows’ A2 milk. Wooden mathani is used to churn curd clock wise and anti clockwise as per the traditional method. Ghee is made in a Brass utensil (Peetal Kadhai)., Approx 30 to 35 litres of desi cow A2 milk is needed to make 1 litre pure desi cow bilona ghee when followed the curd churning process as per the traditional method. On an average, one desi cow gives 3 to 5 litre of milk in a day after feeding its calf. Milking cycle goes on for 6 to 8 months after which it goes dry till the next delivery which usually takes an year or two when left free for natural pregnancy., Hetha manages its own herd of 1000+ Gir, Sahiwal and Tharparkar cows where cows are tested for A2 DNA gene and Brucella. Hetha was awarded the prestigious National Gopal Ratna Award - June, 2018., Ethical and cruelty free milking is practiced. At least half the milk is for the calf, be it male or female. Old and dry cows/bulls are kept within the premises of Hetha farms and fed the same fodder as milking cows., Organically grown hydroponics grass, carrots, sugarcane, and other seasonal fodder are fed to the cows. No hormones to cows, no added colors/preservatives in ghee.
